My husband and I met 9 years ago in Mexico while enjoying our “Senior Spring Breaks” in High School. After years of long distance we moved to the same state where we got engaged and married! Our fairy tale wedding took place downtown Des Moines, Iowa on State Capitol grounds in front of a BEAUTIFUL monument! The location is really not meant for weddings but I was determined! The skyline views were breathtaking. Our reception was held in a historic venue and our guests danced the night away with station style food, cocktails and a live band. It was perfect.
